My name is Mike Cooper, founder of Service Sales School and Black Mountain Media.

A little over 15 years ago I bought an existing carpet cleaning company.

I was going to live life as a business owner! We’re talking 20-hour work weeks and more money than I knew what to do with!

I went to the school of hard knocks and learned how to sell services and turn a profit the hard way. I wasted money on marketing that didn’t work, I tried to sell with desperation, and lost a lot of good clients by making poor decisions.
